I earned my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University. I have worked in outpatient settings, conducting both group and individual sessions, as well as serving as a therapist in private outpatient practices. I feel that my experience is wide-ranging in regard to mental health. I excel in working with adolescents as old as seventeen and adults well into their geriatric years.
I have found that an integrative treatment approach leads to the most successful outcomes. These skills include resolving childhood conflicts that contribute to present difficulties, modifying and changing negative thoughts and behavior patterns, and cultivating resilience and empowerment so that you can move confidently forward.

I had been seeing a counselor from a local large facility and was very disappointed in their lack of connection.
I decided to see what else is available and checked our zocdocs and booked an appointment with Chris.
I have never had such a pleasant and insightful session in my life. He actually seemed like he generally had interest in my life, and even took notes while we spoke and later connected some events that I had never realized had any influence on each other. Amazing. Chris is obviously highly intelligent and honestly, his scope of knowledge, emotional intelligence and empathy puts most all other counselors I have seen to shame.
