Whether you have connected with a therapist in the past and are ready to share your experiences, or you are hesitant to start therapy, I begin where you are. I believe it takes some time to develop trust in a therapeutic relationship. I incorporate several modalities and methods to promote the changes you desire to achieve and strive to address your challenges from their root. I also believe the mind and body are connected. I incorporate breathwork, guided meditation, and relaxation techniques if individuals are willing. Some people also seek healing from a spiritual perspective. I work with whatever is meaningful to you and is relevant in your journey. Trauma and severe life stressors can unknowingly impact our lives in ways we are often unaware of. My passion is to help others develop a healthy perception of themselves and improve relationships with others. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). My areas of expertise include depression, family relationships, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, stress, suicidal ideation and/or self-harming, and trauma. I also offer Sonder Mind Video Telehealth for those who prefer remote sessions. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy exploring different cultures and spending time in nature. These activities help me stay grounded and bring a sense of balance to my life, which I strive to share with my clients.
