3217 S Cherokee Ln, Bldg 700 Ste 730, Woodstock, GA
As a professional counselor, I am known for the warm and nurturing environment I provide where clients can freely navigate through life's challenges as we work together to create the lasting changes they desire. I use a variety of approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered, solution-focused, and mindfulness-based practices in my work with adults, college-age youth, and children (ages 8-12). With all ages, I offer the opportunity to incorporate expressive arts into sessions, if desired, to expand the self-discovery process. Within a trusting, confidential relationship, the stage is set for exploring possibilities, finding solutions, and developing replacement behaviors for life's challenges. I work collaboratively with my clients with the ultimate goal of helping each one achieve a more thoughtful, fulfilling, and rewarding life. I am honored to enter into a respectful and caring therapeutic relationship with each client I serve. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, a Master of Education in Counseling from Troy University, and a Master of Education in School Counseling from the University of West Alabama. My previous professional experience includes roles as a classroom teacher, administrator, and school counselor. Focus Areas Include: Anxiety, depression, grief/loss, adjustment, family and individual life transitions, divorce/separation, ADHD, blended families, and educational consulting. I offer online, telehealth therapy.
