My experience allows me to use a therapeutic approach that matches the needs of the client. I have years of experience assessing and treating children, adolescents, and adults. I help those in treatment examine behavioral patterns that have become dysfunctional and learn healthier patterns of thinking and behaving. I use a lot of cognitive behavioral approaches. I specialize in treating those with depression and bipolar disorder, victims of domestic violence, and helping those with gay and lesbian concerns. I also specialize in working with victims of domestic violence and in deprogramming people who are exiting high-control groups and cults. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Howard University and a Bachelor's degree from Morgan State University.
