UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. Therapy is like looking for a life partner or friend. The feel has to be right, the experience has to fit, and personalities must match. Investing in you is a great investment, and you need the right partner to help it grow. I consider myself a reality therapist—I listen, provide feedback, but also keep things authentic. You won’t hear what you want to hear, but you will hear what you need to hear to help you get un-stuck. Life has many challenges, and you can overcome almost anything with the right tools and a positive mindset. I have been a mental health provider for a little over 11 years. Growing is my top priority for all clients. I earned my Master’s in Social Work from Howard University and my Bachelor’s degree from Fisk University, which have both shaped my approach to therapy and commitment to client growth.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am authentic in approach. I like to look at each situation from all perspectives to give you what you need and not what you want. I am personable and strive to make everyone feel comfortable. Therapy has to feel good to you and you have to be open to change in order for it to work. In addition, relationships are key... if I don't fit what you need, please say so. You have a choice when picking a therapist. I utilize a strengths based approach. You can overcome almost anything with the right tools and a positive attitude.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our initial session is utilized to gather information about you and for you to learn about me. This is the assessment phase in which you determine if this is the right fit for you. Follow up sessions are done on a bi-weekly basis to give you time to work on approaches and digest information and tools shared. Your feedback and buy-in is most important. Your feedback helps our relationship grow. Like Allstate... I'd like to think you are in good hands with me

She was absolutely horrible she didn't listen at all she hung up in the middle of a sentence and then refused to even respond back. initially comes off as kind and caring trying to introduce herself to get you to introduce yourself but in reality she's just a typical cold as ice therapist who doesn't get too craps about her actual clients. avoid at all costs you will not get any kind of respect here
