Daniel Roitburt, MS

Psychotherapist
NY
I believe therapy is a collaborative and deeply human process—one that can help us better understand ourselves, our relationships, and the patterns that shape our lives. I strive to create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, explore difficult experiences openly, and gain greater clarity about what matters most to you. Whether you are working through anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, questions of identity or purpose, or simply feeling stuck, we can work together toward meaningful change. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), client-centered, existential, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. I have completed the Beck Institute’s Basics of CBT and CBT for Anxiety courses, with a focus on the CBT treatment of anxiety disorders. Depending on your needs and goals, we might explore how to relate differently to difficult emotions, identify patterns that may be holding you back, develop more effective ways of coping, or clarify your values and use them to guide your choices. My hope is that our work together helps you develop greater self-understanding, resilience, and confidence in navigating life’s challenges.
