“When I got caught up in a child welfare case, I was terrified, ashamed, and completely alone. I didn't know who to trust or where to turn. BE HIVE walked me through the entire process with so much compassion and zero judgment. Danielle helped me understand the system, prepared me for every meeting and court date, and made sure my voice was actually heard. She advocated for me and my children in ways I could never have done on my own. Thanks to her support and documentation, my family is still together and thriving today. She didn't just save my case she saved my family. I will never be able to fully express what that means to me and my babies. If you are a parent navigating the system, please don't do it alone. BE HIVE will stand beside you every single step of the way, the way they stood beside me when I had nobody else in my corner.”

“I was referred to BE HIVE during the hardest moment of my life, an open child welfare case that made me feel like a failure as a mother. Danielle treated me with so much dignity and respect from day one. She never once made me feel like a bad parent. She helped me complete every requirement the agency asked for, wrote letters on my behalf, and even attended meetings with me to make sure I was treated fairly. Her trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach meant that as a Black mother I was actually seen as a whole person and not just a case number. The case is now closed and my children are home with me where they belong. I truly believe having BE HIVE in my corner is what changed the outcome for my family. They fought for us when the system was ready to give up, and I will be forever grateful for that fight.”

Getting to know Danielle Beaumont

Hello, and welcome. My name is Danielle Beaumont, LCSW, and I am dedicated to helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate life's challenges while building confidence, resilience, and meaningful change. I understand that seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you are already managing stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, parenting challenges, or major life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process. I have experience working with individuals and families facing a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem issues, family conflict, behavioral challenges, relationship difficulties, stress management, and life transitions. I have also worked extensively with children and families involved in child welfare systems, justice-impacted families, and individuals navigating complex personal and environmental stressors. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths-based. I believe every person has strengths that can be built upon, even during difficult seasons of life. Together, we work to identify challenges, develop practical coping strategies, strengthen relationships, and build the tools needed to create lasting change. I recognize that culture, identity, family experiences, and systemic factors influence emotional well-being, and I strive to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed care that honors each client's unique experiences. My clinical training includes Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Attachment and Biobehavioral Catch-up (ABC), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused approaches, and trauma-informed treatment. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, I tailor treatment to meet each client's individual needs and goals.

What should a new client know about working with you?

Clients often describe me as warm, approachable, compassionate, and easy to talk to. Building trust is one of the most important parts of the therapeutic relationship, and I strive to create an environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts, feelings, and experiences without fear of judgment. My therapeutic style is collaborative, supportive, and practical. While I provide empathy and validation, I also help clients identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thoughts, and develop tools that can be applied in everyday life. I believe therapy should provide both emotional support and practical strategies that help clients move toward their goals. I understand that every client enters therapy with different experiences, strengths, and reasons for seeking support. Some clients are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or stress. Others are seeking support around parenting, relationships, family conflict, self-esteem, grief, or major life changes. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, I work alongside you to develop an individualized treatment plan that reflects your unique needs and goals. As a trauma-informed therapist, I understand how past experiences can impact current emotions, behaviors, relationships, and overall well-being. I also recognize the importance of culture, identity, family systems, and environmental influences. My goal is to provide care that is respectful, culturally responsive, and centered on your individual experiences. For children and families, I believe caregivers are important partners in the therapeutic process. Treatment may include parent coaching, family sessions, skill-building activities, emotional regulation strategies, and interventions designed to strengthen family relationships and attachment. My hope is that clients leave each session feeling heard, supported, challenged in healthy ways, and equipped with tools they can use beyond the therapy room.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The therapeutic process begins with getting to know you and understanding your unique experiences, concerns, strengths, and goals. During our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you are currently facing, important life experiences, your support system, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. This helps us develop a clear understanding of your needs and create goals that are meaningful and personalized. Once goals are established, therapy becomes a collaborative process focused on helping you make progress in the areas that matter most to you. Sessions may involve exploring thoughts, emotions, behaviors, family dynamics, relationship patterns, past experiences, and current stressors. Depending on your needs, treatment may focus on managing anxiety, reducing symptoms of depression, improving emotional regulation, processing traumatic experiences, strengthening relationships, improving communication, increasing self-esteem, enhancing parenting skills, or navigating life transitions. I frequently incorporate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused techniques, strengths-based practices, and trauma-informed care. When working with children and adolescents, treatment is tailored to their developmental needs and may include therapeutic activities, play-based interventions, emotional skill-building, caregiver involvement, and parent coaching. My goal is to ensure that progress made during sessions can be supported and reinforced in everyday life. Therapy is a flexible process, and I believe treatment should evolve as clients grow and their needs change. My goal is to help clients not only address current challenges but also develop lasting skills, confidence, resilience, and self-awareness that continue to support them long after therapy has ended.

I cannot stress enough how much it mattered to have a Black woman as my therapist. For the first time in my life I didn't have to translate my pain or shrink my culture into something palatable. Danielle understood the weight I was carrying as a Black woman navigating corporate spaces, family expectations, and generational trauma — all without me having to explain a single thing. She held space for my anger, my tears, my joy, and my healing in a way that felt like home. Representation is not just a buzzword here — it is the foundation of the work. I have grown more in six months at BE HIVE than I did in five years of therapy elsewhere. If you are a Black woman who has ever felt unseen in therapy, please know this space was built for you. You deserve to be held by someone who truly, deeply understands.
There is something sacred about sitting across from a Black woman therapist who reflects back your humanity. Danielle doesn't pathologize my strength or my exhaustion she validates it, and then she helps me build a life that doesn't require me to abandon myself to survive. She helped me untangle years of being the 'strong Black woman' in every room I walked into, and showed me that softness is not weakness. I have never felt more seen, more held, or more hopeful about my future. BE HIVE is more than a practice it is a refuge for women like me who have been holding everything together for everyone else for far too long. I leave every single session a little more whole than I came in, and that is a feeling I never knew therapy could give me.
I was nervous to start therapy but Danielle made the process so easy and comfortable. She is culturally aware in a way that I've never experienced with a therapist before, I never have to over-explain myself or my background. She meets me exactly where I am and challenges me to grow in the most affirming, compassionate way. My self-confidence and communication have improved dramatically. I genuinely look forward to our sessions every week. As a Black woman, finding a therapist who looks like me and truly gets it has been everything. I spent years feeling unseen in therapy rooms, and BE HIVE finally gave me the culturally affirming, deeply understanding space I had been searching for my entire adult life. This is what real, representative, soul-level healing looks like, and I will forever be grateful.
Coming to BE HIVE was one of the best decisions I've ever made for myself. Danielle has a way of making you feel completely safe and seen from the very first session. She doesn't just listen — she truly understands. She helped me work through years of anxiety I had been carrying alone, and for the first time I feel like I have real tools to manage it. I leave every session feeling lighter and more grounded. This space is unlike anything I've experienced before. I tell everybody I know about BE HIVE because everybody deserves to feel this kind of care and this kind of freedom in their healing journey.
I needed a psychological evaluation done quickly for a court date and I was stressed beyond belief. Every other place I called had weeks-long waitlists and made me feel like just another number. BE HIVE got me in fast, completed the evaluation thoroughly and professionally, and had the full report ready well before my court date. The evaluator was detailed, fair, and clearly explained everything in the document in a way the judge and my lawyer could actually use. That report made a real difference in my case — the judge specifically referenced it. I am so grateful they moved so quickly without ever cutting corners. If you need an evaluation for court, do not wait around call BE HIVE. They are fast, they are thorough, and they genuinely care about getting it right and about the real human being behind the paperwork.
