Danielle Kwon, LMSW

Psychotherapist
MD
Healing doesn’t have to happen on your own or in isolation, but through rebuilding healthy connections rooted in safety and trust. I specialize in working with survivors, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD and neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ identity, immigrants/children of immigrants, and folks navigating relationship and family difficulties, grief, and healing from intergenerational, interpersonal, and systemic trauma. My practice is largely shaped by my experiences facilitating care circles for Queer Asian/Pacific Islander survivors of gender- and power-based violence. My therapeutic approach includes aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Attachment-Based Therapy, and aims to be anti-oppressive, neurodivergent-affirming, and trauma-informed. I strive to create space for clients to feel safe and empowered and to show up authentically as themselves, as they are. Trauma most often disrupts our human capacity to feel safe in connection. I hope to walk alongside you in your journey to rebuild your sense of grounding in your self and feeling safe in connection so you can not only survive, but thrive.
