At Serenity, we provide a unique match to a therapist who specializes in your specific issue. All therapists use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which is evidence-based. We accept most insurances, including Tricare. “Peace through knowledge” is the company motto David created because a therapist's goal is to help people discover new things about themselves, life, and what they can do to overcome the obstacles they face. By doing that, they can develop a peaceful mindset and find lasting happiness. The logo, featuring a golden lotus flower, represents peace and enlightenment, growing out of a book as a symbol of knowledge. Life can be hard at times, and difficult circumstances are sometimes beyond our control, but it doesn't have to be overwhelming. There is no shame in it. We just do not get taught how to manage anxiety, stress, relationships, and more. At Serenity, we can help you maintain a healthy balance in your life, discover new perspectives, set achievable goals, and make changes to help you reach those goals. All therapists here want to help you develop your overall well-being, including your physical and emotional wellness, to create a healthier and happier you. David holds a Master's in Professional Clinical Counseling from the University of Nevada, Reno, bringing expert knowledge and compassionate care to every client.

I like to keep it fun and educational best I can. I like to use a CBT solution focused approach when I can.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First session is always an assessment, and we go over your 3 wishes. These “Wishes” will become your goals that we will focus on in your sessions.
