Hi there, I'm David! If you've been extra stressed in 2025 due to major changes in our country, you're not alone. I can offer solutions to help you find balance in being aware of current events while also not feeling like you're in a constant state of fear or panic. I’m Dave (he/him), and I love helping adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, & relationship concerns. I know first-hand what it's like to live with ADHD, anxiety, & depression, which means you'll get down-to-earth & realistic skills to improve your quality of life. I also have extensive training in couples counseling. My approach As part of treatment for anxiety, depression, & stress, I'll help you learn about the connection between your thoughts and feelings, & how this can have such a strong impact on your day-to-day happiness. For ADHD, I can also teach you skills that will help you with so many of the common challenges you may be facing as a neurodivergent person living in a neurotypical world. Given my own experience with ADHD, anxiety, & depression, I truly understand many of the experiences you may be having with these conditions, and I know how much of a challenge it can be. But life doesn't have to feel like a constant struggle. Learn about how you can go from "just surviving" to actually thriving…even in this increasingly stressful world! I conduct couple therapy sessions using Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which focuses on helping partners recognize and change their negative patterns of interacting with each other. EFT is also evidence-based, meaning its effectiveness is strongly supported by scientific research. In EFT sessions, I focus on helping you and your partner identify and understand your unhelpful patterns of emotionally reacting to each other. I then help you and your partner learn how to reconnect through this improved understanding of each other’s emotions.
