What should a new client know about working with you?

Beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's normal to feel uncertain about where to start. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly about your experiences at your own pace. I believe healing happens through trust, collaboration, and understanding—not through judgment or pressure. Together, we will identify the challenges that are keeping you stuck, explore the experiences that have shaped your life, and develop practical skills to help you move forward. My approach is trauma-informed and personalized to your unique needs. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based strategies. These approaches help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while building healthier coping skills and emotional resilience. During our sessions, you can expect: A compassionate and respectful therapeutic relationship. A collaborative approach where we work together toward your goals. Practical coping strategies you can use in everyday life. Education about how trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, or relationship patterns affect emotional well-being. I work with adults experiencing concerns such as trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, relationship challenges, and compulsive sexual behaviors, including pornography addiction. My focus is not simply on reducing symptoms, but on helping you build a life that reflects your values and strengths. Healing is a process, and lasting change happens one step at a time. Whether you're beginning therapy for the first time or returning after previous treatment, I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. This is your new beginning. There is hope, healing, and a path forward—and you don't have to walk it alone.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work begins by getting to know you—not just your symptoms, but your story, strengths, values, and goals. During the first few sessions, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, review your history, identify current challenges, and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs. As therapy progresses, we'll work together to identify patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors that may be contributing to your difficulties. I'll help you develop practical coping skills to manage anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, ADHD, relationship concerns, and life stressors while addressing the underlying issues that keep you feeling stuck. My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and goal-oriented. I integrate evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness practices, and strengths-based interventions. Depending on your goals, sessions may include skill-building, emotional processing, problem-solving, communication strategies, relapse prevention, and developing healthier relationships. Throughout treatment, we'll regularly review your progress, celebrate successes, and adjust goals as your needs evolve. My goal is to help you gain insight, build confidence, strengthen resilience, and develop lasting tools that support your emotional well-being long after therapy ends. I believe therapy is a partnership. Together, we'll create a safe, respectful, and supportive space where you can heal from the past, navigate present challenges, and move toward the future you want to build.
