What should a new client know about working with you?

I do not accept insurance, so don't book with me if you plan on using insurance to pay. My approach is collaborative and personal. I work with you to decide what the goals of our work together will be. I believe that humor is an essential part of learning and growing and apply it as much as possible and appropriate. I think of our sessions together as opportunities for developing the skills you need, growing your understanding of yourself, and opening up possibilities. If your past is running your present, we'll explore that and find ways to reduce the impact of your past. I'm passionate about helping you realize and access your full potential. I admire your courage in wanting to take this journey and feel honored to take part in it with you.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

We'll talk about what's happening in your life and how you'd like that to change. I can help you reframe your thinking and behavior so you can take positive action to reach your goals. I specialize in trauma, addictions, relationships, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. I work with you to develop a plan that will reduce distress and improve your ability to live the life you want.
