Hi, I'm Dawn! For over 20 years, I've had the privilege of helping individuals, children, and families achieve their goals through inpatient, outpatient, and group therapy. Early in life, I learned the importance of helping others. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Salem College and a Master's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. My mission is to empower individuals and families to become their best selves. I would like to guide you in identifying tools to help you cope with everyday life stressors. If you are finding it difficult to navigate through life's challenges, I am here to support you.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

I appreciate Dawn's approach to therapy. I find centering mindfulness and healing via EMDR a useful way to process my thoughts and feelings. I actively use her recommended techniques outside of therapy and they have aided me in times of distress. I would recommend therapy with Dawn to others.
