Getting to know Debbie Stark

Through teletherapy and/or in-person treatment, I will assist you in understanding your current stressors and history, and help you develop coping skills. Gaining insight into the root causes of your problems and learning tools and strategies to manage them makes it possible to improve your life. I will support you in assessing problematic situations and relationships with the people in your life to help you identify where changes are needed and how to enhance your overall well-being. I work with adults and specialize in a wide range of issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, fertility, and substance and alcohol abuse. I also speak Spanish and German. I hold a Master's in Social Work from Fordham University and a Master's in Public Affairs from Columbia University. It will be a pleasure to review your concerns and desires for change. Together, we will review your strengths and current challenges and assess how to best improve your emotional wellness.
