What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe in working at your pace with the concerns you bring to the session. I utilize varying treatment methods, such as CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and apply each depending on client need. I offer a non judgmental safe space to explore emotions, behaviors and coping skills.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

First sessions are typically, get to know you type of sessions. I review what to expect in therapy and explore existing beliefs regarding therapy. I work with the client on identifying initial goals and motivations for treatment. Following sessions focus on goals set by the client and /or immediate need concerns.
