UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My name is Dereka Ross. If you've found yourself here, you've found the right place. This is a place where you can find safety. This is a place where you will be greeted with compassion and understanding. Most importantly, this is a place where you can completely be who you are without apology. I hold a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University Maryland. Over the years, I have found that person-centered, psychodynamic, variations of CBT, Gestalt, and existential approaches have been most effective in healing the whole person. It is through nonjudgment, understanding the past, feeling our experiences, and embarking on the journey of becoming our best selves that meaning emerges.
