I have been working with Derrick for a few weeks now. When I spoke with him in our first meeting, he made me feel incredibly at ease. He has a calming presence that will make anyone feel at ease when sharing feelings and emotions. Derrick is great at getting me to think about MYSELF, specifically taking care of my innermost wants, needs, and desires. Often, during our sessions, Derrick has said many things that have really allowed me to pause and think deeply. He is a great, unbiased listener. At times, he is also funny, which adds a nice lightheartedness to our sessions.
