Hey there! Is your anxiety preventing you from living your best life and reaching your full potential? I know it's difficult being paralyzed by your symptoms; however, I am here to help you lean into that anxiety and discomfort so that you can feel more confident in managing it. I have a collaborative approach to counseling and will work with you to find ways to better empower you to improve your mental health. I utilize evidence-based practices, specifically EMDR and ERP, to help alleviate and process your anxiety, OCD, or trauma symptoms. Therapy can be scary, especially if it's your first time seeking help! If you are a bilingual speaker, our emotional language can be in our native language, or certain experiences may be easier to process in Spanish. Having someone who can switch languages back and forth is essential so that you are able to fully express your experiences and symptoms. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. It is important to me to be there to support you, answer your questions, walk you through EMDR and ERP, and provide a safe virtual space to heal. Let's work together!

What should a new client know about working with you?

It is important to me that when starting therapy services we create a space for you to be your most authentic self, feel safe, and be heard. As a previous client, I understand the importance of having a therapist you connect with. Finding the right therapist is essential to be able to be comfortable working with intrusive thoughts, and trauma experiences as well as to have someone who can help you understand what you are going through. You are not your diagnosis. You are simply someone struggling with their mental health and need the right tools to regain control of your life. My passion is working with women struggling with anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and trauma survivors.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I utilize ERP which is the gold standard in treating OCD, manage their compulsions and be able to take back control of their lives. I also implement EMDR for clients who are experience the impact of trauma.
