Psychotherapist
500 Sun Valley Dr, Ste D2, Roswell, GA
"Hello, I'm Eboni, and I'm here to support you on your journey to mental wellness. With over twenty-five years in the clinical counseling field and eleven years in education, I bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to helping individuals improve their quality of life. My journey began as an abuse counselor at a battered women’s shelter in College Park, MD, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of therapy. This experience inspired me to dedicate my career to making a difference in the lives of others. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Howard University and two Master's degrees from Wilmington University in Community Counseling and School Counseling. Additionally, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor (CPCS), and CAMS II certified. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, incorporating cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral techniques to tailor treatment to each individual's needs. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working in diverse settings, including drug and alcohol counseling at a Methadone Treatment Facility, mental health liaison roles, youth rehabilitation services, and correctional counseling. My experience extends to educational settings as well, where I have served as a Special Education Instructor, School Counselor, Adjunct College Instructor, and School Administrator. I am particularly proud of my role in helping a level six inpatient psychiatric facility in Kennesaw, GA, achieve full accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS-CASI).
