“I was very specifically looking for a therapist who has a sense of humor and would be able to joke around with me (because life is just like that sometimes). Eileen is an incredible mix being serious and straightforward about the important bits but also being able to laugh with me about the absurdity of life. I look forward to meeting with Eileen every week and she's helped me make so much progress in what seems like such a short time. She allows me to verbally process but also knows exactly when to interject and reframe. ”

Getting to know Eileen Rosario

Welcome to a space where healing doesn't feel like a chore. At our practice, we specialize in compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for individuals navigating depression, anxiety, work stress and burnout, family tension, and relationship struggles (yes, even the ones that make you want to throw your phone across the room). Whether you're running on caffeine and autopilot, overwhelmed by adulting, or just trying to make it through another day without snapping in a meeting—you’re not alone, and you’re exactly where you need to be. Our clinicians take an eclectic approach to therapy because healing isn't one-size-fits-all (neither are jeans, so why should therapy be?). We draw from multiple evidence-based techniques—like CBT, ACT, psychodynamic, mindfulness, and others—and tailor them to your unique needs. The goal? To build a strong, safe therapeutic relationship and help you unpack the hard stuff at a pace that feels doable, not dreadful. With a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, I bring both education and heart to this work. We're warm, real, and not afraid to laugh when it helps lighten the load. Therapy with us might include deep insights, honest tears, the occasional meme reference, and a whole lot of self-compassion. We're here to help you reconnect with yourself, rediscover your strength, and feel more grounded in your everyday life. This isn’t just talk therapy. It’s a collaborative space to reset, reflect, and grow—with a therapist who gets that sometimes healing looks like crying, venting, cursing, and still showing up. Your story matters. Your healing is possible. And yes, we’ll help you get through this—even if life feels like one long group project with no instructions.

What should a new client know about working with you?

What to Expect When You Work With Me (Besides Feeling Seen and Heard): Let’s be real—therapy isn’t just about sitting on a couch, spilling your guts, and getting vague head nods in return. If you’re going to open up about the real, raw, messy stuff—your fears, insecurities, heartbreaks, or that time you spiraled at 2 a.m. over a typo in a work email—you deserve to know who you're talking to. That’s where I come in. I believe therapy is built on connection. Our work together starts with us—a real, human relationship where trust, safety, and the occasional laugh matter just as much as the coping tools and clinical skills. You can expect a space that’s validating, empowering, and yes, even a little bit humorous when the moment calls for it (because sometimes, life is just... a lot). I bring an eclectic approach to therapy—meaning I use a mix of modalities tailored to you, not some rigid one-size-fits-all formula. We’ll explore patterns, integrate coping strategies, reframe those inner critic thoughts, and work toward healing in a way that feels authentic to you. And while you’ll be doing the courageous work of self-discovery, growth, and change, I’ll be right there beside you—offering perspective, encouragement, and maybe even sharing a bit about my own humanness, too. This is your space to be real, not perfect. A place where your strengths are celebrated, your struggles are held with compassion, and your growth is honored—at your pace, in your way. Come as you are. Therapy with me is honest, warm, and full of soul. And yes, we might laugh, cry, reframe your inner dialogue, and even talk about that overwhelming group chat you’ve been avoiding. You're not alone in this—and you never have to be.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

So, you're thinking about starting therapy—what happens first? First off, welcome! I know reaching out for support can feel like a big step (shoutout to your inner strength for making it here). Here’s what you can expect as we get started: Before we dive into the deep stuff, there are a few housekeeping things to take care of—like collecting your insurance information, figuring out your copay, or setting up your self-pay rate. (And don’t worry, I also firmly believe therapy shouldn’t cost you an arm, a leg, or your will to emotionally function.) Once we square that away, you’ll receive a digital welcome packet that includes informed consent forms (because therapy is always your choice), practice policies (a.k.a. how we roll), and the confirmed date and time of your intake appointment—plus the link to your telehealth session. Easy, secure, and pajama-friendly. Our first official session is an initial assessment, which might sound clinical, but really it’s just a deep-dive conversation. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, any past mental health or medical history, and most importantly, what you’d like to work on now. This is also where we check the vibe and see if we’re a good therapeutic fit (which matters a whole lot). We’ll also chat about scheduling future sessions. I’m flexible with frequency, but I generally recommend weekly meetings at the start—it helps us build rapport, develop trust, and keep the momentum going as you begin your healing journey. Therapy with me is collaborative, validating, and paced around you. No pressure, no judgment, just space to breathe, grow, and be supported. You ready? Let’s do this—with heart, humor, and healing.

This was my very first time seeing a therapist and was super nervous. She came recommended and she did not disappoint. She laid everything out. Everything was clear and straight to the point. I loved her energy and professionalism. I loved how attentive and honest she was. I loved how prepared she was. She reached out beforehand to make sure insurance and forms were filled out correctly which made it easy to just start the appointment instead of taking time to deal with that the first time around. She listened without any interruptions and made me feel comfortable and important. I know why she was highly recommended!

I had my first appointment with Eileen and she took her time listening to my concerns about my mental health and I felt comfortable right away. I haven't felt that about my prior therapists with just the first meeting.
