What should a new client know about working with you?

In tough-to-reach places, people can feel as though they've exhausted their internal resources and emotional capacity and haven't been "Heard." I create non-biased spaces for them to navigate. I regard persons for who they are and what they contribute with empathy, authenticity, formal training skills, and necessary modalities. I demonstrate a cultural understanding of various cultures beyond cultural competence and apply the necessary skills.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Past and current clients have embraced being themselves. Some share an urgency related to anxiety, depression, unresolved anger, intimacy issues, self-esteem concerns, self-improvement goals, women's issues, occupational stress, relationship stress, some personality disorders, trauma, and interpersonal disputes. People are to be acknowledged and regarded. Throughout our work together, we work to apply the necessary tools and goals. We complete a screening and consultation, Intake Assessment, and subsequent individual therapy appointments. The appointments are based on the recommendations made during the initial appointment and based on the collaboration of the clients during goal formation and beyond.
