Elizabeth Black is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the State of California, who brings a unique blend of educational backgrounds to her practice. She holds a Master's in Mental Health Counseling from Sonoma State University and a Ph.D. in Scottish History, with a specialization in the psycho-social experience of aging, from the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Elizabeth's expertise lies at the intersection of psychology and history. With five years of experience working with adolescents and young adults in high-school settings, she also has a background as an elementary school teacher and specialized education for working with older populations and their families.
