Finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. You might worry if you will be accepted for who you are, or be able to trust them with your story without feeling judged. These are real concerns, and reaching out takes courage. I’m here to offer a safe, LGBTQ+-affirming space where you can feel heard, supported, and free to be yourself. My specialty centers on individual therapy with adults and adolescents, ages 16 and up, including in-person and telehealth sessions. I also have extensive experience supporting teens and adults navigating coping with ADHD, mood and anxiety issues, and pet loss. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you're facing, identify what matters most to you, and create a path toward healing and growth. Your journey truly matters to me, and I would be honored to support you along the way. If you have any questions or would like to schedule a session, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here and look forward to the opportunity to work together.

What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: not accepting Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. Before becoming a therapist, I was a news features writer for weekly publications. Interviewing people from different backgrounds, each with their own story to tell, helped develop my listening skills. Similarly, working as contact tracer during the COVID-19 pandemic deepened my empathy and commitment to helping others. I incorporate these unique experiences into my practice now, ensuring openness and authenticity in every session, which helps me be an effective and supportive collaborator at all times.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Using an affirming, individualized, and collaborative approach anchored in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and motivational interviewing, I create a compassionate, safe, and evidence-based space to work toward meaningful change. My style is warm but direct, and tailored to your needs, situation, and goals to help you learn ways to identify anxiety triggers and learn coping skills.
