UpLift Behavioral Health providers do not issue prescriptions for substances controlled by any federal or state agency or other drugs that may be harmful because of their potential for abuse. UpLift Behavioral Health reserves the right to limit the types of medications that may be prescribed by its doctors and nurse practitioners. All prescriptions furnished by UpLift Behavioral Health care providers are issued in accordance with applicable federal and state law as well as UpLift Behavioral Health policy. My name is Beth, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with twenty-five years of experience providing treatment to adults, couples, children, and groups. I earned my Master's in Social Work from the University of Maryland and my Bachelor's degree from Loyola University Maryland. Over the years, I have helped clients with issues such as depression, anxiety, marital problems, work-related challenges, grief, abuse and neglect, and adjustments to life events. I believe in starting where the client is and establishing a positive working relationship. My goal is to empower clients to take control of their situations and help them reach the place they want to be in life. We work as a team, but much of the work happens outside of sessions, so homework may be given at times.
