Emma is a LPC with over 3 years of experience. She is passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals, teens and young adults, women and girls, the LGBTQIA+ community, diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, immigrants, survivors of trauma and PTSD, and individuals with mood disorders. She also treats relationship issues, family discord, substance abuse/addiction, and eating disorders. Emma values helping marginalized populations and advocates for human rights and social issues. She further supports adult survivors of abuse in healing and breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma. Emma has a Master of Science in Counseling and Art Therapy from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her approach is holistic, person-centered, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity- and gender-affirming. Emma uses CBT, DBT, spiritual therapy, and psychodynamic/Jungian analytic psychotherapy.
