I'm pretty sure this isn't the first therapist's (or hypnotist's) website you've visited for hypnosis or counseling. Relax for a moment-this site is casual and low on marketing hype. Like many in this field, I strive to prevent people from letting their struggles define their identity. Sometimes, when given a diagnosis, the person behind it can get forgotten. I hate that. I also spend time trying to make this world a better place by alleviating distress where I can. But I noticed few openly work with more invisible issues. I specialize in supporting those for whom death is a very real part of life-whether facing terminal illness, homicide (accidental, line-of-duty, malice), miscarriage, abortion, cancer diagnosis, or cancer scare-and those enduring strong emotional pain from divorce, obsession, survivor's guilt, betrayal, and other heartache. And I'll say it right out-I also work with folks who may not have a big specific issue to tackle. Sometimes life just blows, and they need to talk about it. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling and Substance Abuse from Vermont State University, which informs my compassionate and practical approach to healing.

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
