Hi there, I'm Erin! My name is Erin Pruett, and I am a licensed mental health counselor (MH16758) in the state of Florida. I earned my Master's in Counseling from Liberty University. Throughout my career, I have focused on working with individuals who have experienced trauma and those navigating leadership challenges, burnout, and vicarious trauma. Specifically, I have worked with survivors of sex trafficking, sexual abuse, religious trauma, displaced individuals from war or crisis, and third culture kids. I also support clients experiencing grief, depression, anxiety, stress, relationship difficulties, career challenges, and communication struggles. My approach to therapy is to come alongside and journey with you. I have training in experiential methods and often utilize experiential therapy. Additionally, I am trained in psychodrama, EMDR, nature-based therapy, and adventure therapy. My style is interactive; while I offer attentive listening, I take an engaged approach by providing tools that might be helpful. I work best with clients who are committed to the therapy process. My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, focusing not only on trauma but also on post-traumatic growth. I reflect back what I hear while equipping individuals with practical tools to support their healing and growth. I typically work with clients who want to address current difficulties or historical trauma that impacts their present life or keeps them stuck. I am most comfortable supporting those who want to explore what may be getting in the way of their life satisfaction. My experience includes extensive work with survivors of trauma, those who have experienced religious abuse, and individuals who identify as third-culture kids.
