Psychotherapist
CA
Hi there, I'm Fajima! I am deeply passionate about helping people navigate life's challenges through a compassionate, grounded, and collaborative lens. My focus Are past hurts or old trauma showing up in your day-to-day habits and relationships? I work with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, trauma, and depression. Together, we’ll build practical coping skills and create a personalized plan to help you heal and find your footing again. My approach My approach is focused on building trust and safety in the therapeutic relationship. I believe that treatment should be client-led, based on each person's unique experience. I use a combination of mindfulness, psychodynamic theory, EMDR, and a relationally-based approach to healing. My communication style My goal is to create a safe, steady space where we can work together through whatever life is bringing your way, with plenty of room for both honesty and compassion. My journey to mental healthcare My path to becoming a therapist began from a deep desire to help others find their footing through life’s hardest turns. Walking alongside trauma survivors showed me firsthand how powerful therapy can be when navigating deep healing. I am driven by the belief that no matter how heavy things feel, everyone carries an innate capacity for healing. My goals for you Together, we’ll set goals that matter to you—whether that’s building healthier relationships, finding your voice, or simply feeling more at home in your own skin. To help get there, I often integrate EMDR to gently process early challenges and patterns that are showing up in your life today, helping you move forward. Our first session Our first session is for us to get to know each other and talk about what brings you in. Therapy is a process, and building trust takes time. We’ll take things one step at a time.
