Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying anxiety, trauma, or relationship struggles for a long time. My goal is to provide a space where you feel understood, supported, and empowered to move forward. I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, burnout, low self-confidence, and unhealthy relationship patterns. Many of my clients are high-achieving professionals or individuals navigating complex family dynamics, cultural expectations, or past trauma. As a bicultural therapist, I am especially passionate about supporting immigrants and first-generation individuals who are balancing multiple identities and expectations. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic approaches to help clients process past experiences, regulate their nervous system, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others. Most importantly, therapy with me is not just about talking—it’s about helping you gain clarity, build resilience, and create meaningful change in your life.

Getting to know Farah Alnajar

What should a new client know about working with you?

My style is warm, collaborative, and direct. I aim to create a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what you’re going through while also helping you move toward meaningful change. In our first sessions, we will explore what has been weighing on you—whether that’s anxiety, overthinking, relationship patterns, burnout, or past experiences that still affect you today. Together we will identify the patterns that keep you feeling stuck and create a clear path forward. I integrate evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic techniques to help clients regulate their nervous system, process difficult experiences, and build healthier ways of thinking and relating. My goal is not just insight, but real, lasting change so you can feel more confident, grounded, and in control of your life.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session focuses on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. We will explore your current concerns, important life experiences, and the patterns that may be contributing to stress, anxiety, or relationship challenges. Together, we will identify your goals and begin developing a clear plan for moving forward. In ongoing sessions, we focus on helping you understand and shift the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. This may include exploring thought patterns, learning tools to regulate your nervous system, improving boundaries and communication, and processing past experiences that continue to impact your present. I often integrate approaches such as EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy, and somatic techniques to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. My goal is to help you gain deeper insight, build emotional resilience, and develop practical skills so you can navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.
