Getting to know Fitzroy Dwyer

I am honored to be of service to you. I know that trauma and mental health issues can wreak havoc in one's life. Sometimes, we know the symptoms we are experiencing and we just need the label, cause, and, or perhaps, just how to manage/live with it. Many people find themselves faced with the challenge of having to restart their lives due to mental challenges. Some have conflicts with family, friends, employers, co-workers, and others. Some people are faced with co-occurring mental illnesses that lead to substance abuse and/or addiction. For some, mental illness might come due to biological, environmental, and social influences. From my experience in the field and interacting with others, I have learned that mental illness can be managed, and does not have to dictate who you are. Take control today! I have been afforded the opportunity to treat diagnoses including: depression, bipolar disorder, mood disorder, TBI, schizophrenia, PTSD, and ADHD. My background includes: therapy (family, group, and individual), Applied Behavior Analysis, Positive Behavior Support, and use of cognitive/behavioral approaches. My philosophy is to "help others make sense of living,” through the guidance of evidence-based practices that help you discover your greatest life.
