What should a new client know about working with you?

When we first meet, my priority is to create a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. I take a collaborative and compassionate approach — we’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, set clear goals together, and begin building practical tools you can use right away. I draw on EMDR, CBT, DBT, and mindfulness, but I tailor each session to your unique needs. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and equipped to move forward.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

In our first few sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your goals, history, and what’s most important to you right now. I believe therapy should balance support with practical strategies, so sessions often include both space to talk and process as well as concrete tools you can use outside of therapy. Depending on your needs, I may draw on EMDR to address trauma, CBT or DBT to build coping skills, or mindfulness to manage stress. Over time, we’ll regularly check in on your progress and adjust our work so it continues to feel helpful and meaningful to you.
