I am an expert couples therapist in practice for 23 years. I have helped countless couples heal their relationship by acquiring the skills necessary to engage one another in a healthy way. My expertise is in communication and the focus of my work is in teaching couples the key communication skills that will strengthen their connection.

What should a new client know about working with you?

I am friendly and very relatable. I am very insightful and quickly identify the flaws in a couple's relationship. I am very straightforward and honest with my couples in communicating precisely what they need to do to fix their relationship.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I have the couple describe the pain points and hot-button issues in the relationship. As they're discussing these pain points, I am making a diagnostic assessment regarding the flaws in the couples communication. I then show the couple how the flaws in their communication are really what's preventing them from moving past their issues and healing. I then give my clients customized skills and strategies around healthy communication that is tailored to their issues. I give them an action plan, a roadmap and a toolbox that they can immediately apply to their issues. Some of the common issues that I help couples navigate past and heal from are infidelity, sexual intimacy problems, poor work-life balance, arguments over money, parenting differences if they have children, outside family members who may be creating stress or problems in their relationship and addictive behaviors. My fee is $295 per 55 minute session. Since my approach is highly solution-focused, the typical couples sees me around 3 or 4 times in total.
