The provider is a "Associate Counselor" with license number 37AC00834700, practicing under the supervision of Jennifer Scott Smith. Hi! I'm Haley, and I am so happy to be part of your mental health journey. Too often, mental health gets overlooked because it’s not as visible as physical health. I believe mental health should be a priority in everything we do, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to improving your mental well-being. I’ve always loved having meaningful conversations with people, especially about the things that make them feel confident and help them grow. In therapy, I especially enjoy working with people who are navigating anxiety, depression, body image/self-esteem issues, trauma, and eating disorders. These are deeply personal challenges, but they’re also opportunities for growth, healing, and finding new ways to connect with yourself. A lot of life will happen outside of our time together, so making sure we are always working towards your goals and finding ways to help you make and keep sustainable progress will be our goal together. I pride myself on building a relationship based on trust, communication, and without judgement, you will always have a safe place to land here. It’s a privilege to be part of your mental health journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are without judgment. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and work toward creating a life that feels more aligned with who you are and what matters most to you. In our sessions, we'll create a space to better understand your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. We'll work through challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem, body image concerns, life transitions, relationships, and identity, while building practical tools that help you feel more confident, connected, and empowered in your daily life. My clients often describe me as warm, relatable, and easy to connect with. They appreciate my down to earth approach and the balance of support, honesty, and encouragement I bring to sessions. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe to be themselves, explore challenges openly, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe the most progress is made when you feel you have a safe place to show up, be yourself, and trust that you are being heard and understood. My process begins at the rapport building stage, where we will get to know each other, your history, and what goals you are looking to accomplish while being here. Therapy isn't meant to last forever, so I find it to be incredibly important to truly understand my clients and build this rapport as a solid foundation so that we can also develop tools to aid in progress outside of our sessions. We will complete relevant assessments, plans, and outline your treatment goals and how you want to work towards them. Throughout your treatment, we will check in on progress and obstacles to progress, while continuing to grow our collaborative relationships. I am not here to do the work for you, so how you show up and want to grow is exactly how I will meet you.
