Hi all, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CA and also a Licensed Independent Social Worker in Ohio. I hold a Master's in Social Work and a Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked with clients of diverse backgrounds and diagnoses. I specialize in Perinatal Mental Health, Depression, ADHD, and Anxiety. My approach is strengths-based and client-centered.
One size does NOT fit all, especially when it comes to therapy. I meet you where you are and can be very disarming. I want to hear your story and rally behind you as we work hard to maintain a healthier, happier you. I am trained in CBT and other modalities; however, my approach is informal, honest, and supportive.
I understand how hard life can be-the difficulties of raising a family, the pain of loss, and the fears those intrusive thoughts bring. I hear you. What should a new client know about working with you?
I work with mom's, dad's, parents, single persons, and I understand how hard it is to schedule time for yourself as well as finding space where you can find privacy. I am patient and understanding, I don't judge and appreciate the efforts to take the huge step to get into therapy.
I want you to feel that you are safe with me, can confide and I will never judge. Please feel free telling me your needs and how you would like therapy to be as well. I may direct it but your input, too, ensures you are getting all you need from the session.
