My name is Hayward Mouton, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington, DC and Maryland. I provide individual, group, marriage, couples, and family therapy in a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment, which fosters a healthy therapeutic relationship, in which allows you the space to address their life stressors, pain, and trauma and gain new skills, techniques, and perspectives, in coping with them. I am an experienced therapist, I am highly skilled in providing Trauma Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to individuals (children, adolescents, adults) and families with complex trauma, chronic mental health, and dysregulating behaviors. In addition, I am an expert in providing therapeutic services to families involved in the Child Welfare System and adolescents involved in the Juvenile Justice System. As your therapist, you will receive quality therapy through a licensed clinical practitioner utilizing evidenced based practices that will allow you to address your goals, decrease or eliminate negative symptoms, and strengthen your coping skills. Furthermore, throughout the therapeutic relationship, you will increase your self-awareness that will strengthen your power to navigate through future life stressors.
