Getting to know Heather Mahoney

I am a dedicated mental health professional who is committed to helping my clients navigate their journey through life and to helping them find and/or reclaim their joy. I have experience working with clients through all life stages (childhood-later adulthood) and helping them navigate and transition through natural life transitions, unexpected health setbacks, past interpersonal and relationship challenges, and the unexpected things that life sometimes throws at us. I utilize skills through motivational interviewing and active and empathetic listening to help my clients feel seen and empowered in all aspects of their lives. Through working in a variety of fields and a wide variety of people, I have gained and continue to expand my knowledge and skills to work with people who have/are navigating addiction, late diagnosed neurodivergence, child welfare experiences, and other difficulties.
