Getting to know Heidi Johnson

The world can be a challenging and overwhelming place. My name is Heidi and I am here to support you as you take the important step forward in acknowledging a need for support. I want to work with you to understand what you are facing and how we can work through life's challenges together. We will talk through identifying the issues you are concerned about, and then work through setting goals for improved functioning. Accomplishing gratitude, self-acceptance, and forgiveness will help you to begin a journey to a healthier place. I obtained a Bachelor's in Anthropology and Spanish from Western Washington University in 1999 and then an MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore in 2005 and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2008. I've worked in a variety of social work settings with incredibly diverse populations. I have many years of experience in supporting survivors of trauma, as well as individuals who struggle with anger management, anxiety, grief and loss. I truly enjoy listening to the incredibly diverse human experience while supporting individuals to achieve greater understanding and acceptance of their life. Let's walk together along this journey to make it more manageable and enjoyable.
