What should a new client know about working with you?

Jackie has worked with adolescents and adults from different backgrounds with ADHD, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), anxiety, life transitions, low self-esteem, depression, and various other diagnoses. She has experience working with neurodivergent and developmentally disabled individuals through Pratt Institutes Disabilities Recourse Center, including Autistic and Dyslexic individuals. Jackie also enjoys working with athletes seeking psychological guidance to navigate the pressures of competitive sports!

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe every person has incredible potential for growth and self-discovery, and I value the uniqueness of each individual. When I work with clients, I approach our journey collaboratively, aiming to understand their strengths, values, and aspirations, allowing me to tailor therapeutic interventions to meet their specific needs and goals. As a clinician, my ultimate goal is to empower individuals, helping them establish a stronger connection with their emotions, thoughts, and bodily sensations to foster self-acceptance. I encourage my clients to embark on a transformative journey of healing and personal growth, leading them toward positive change and self-reliance. My purpose is to support clients in becoming the best version of themselves.
