She has worked with children and families in many settings, including mental health clinics and classrooms around the world (Saudi Arabia, India, Thailand, Vietnam and Kuwait) and in the U.S. (New York City and Boston). With a degree in Psychology from Rutgers University, a Master’s in Social Work from New York University and Post Graduate in School Leadership, Jacqueline’s tenure as a bilingual teacher, college and guidance counselor, and her experience with children and adolescents across the special needs spectrum, enhances and informs her clinical approach today. A licensed social worker in private practice, Jacqueline now focuses on providing individual psychotherapy to people from all backgrounds, age groups and walks of life, as well as providing family sessions, parenting coaching and anger management classes. Her warmth and her relaxed office environment convey the loving care Jacqueline brings to her clients; she is committed to helping them resolve the issues that interfere with success in school and in life. Jacqueline tailors her therapeutic approach to fit each client’s needs, knowing that a “one-size-fits-all” treatment plan does not work. She also supports and educates parents so they are better able to meet their children’s needs and thus, help them shine.
