Jacqueline Gordon, LMSW, received her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Georgia. She is licensed in the state of Maryland. While receiving her degree, she completed an intensive clinical internship with the Atlanta VA, focused on Veterans who were experiencing mental health and Substance Use Disorders.
Ms. Gordon works with children as young as 13 years old and adults. She is skilled in assisting clients in managing their anxiety, depression, life transitions, etc. Ms. Gordon specializes with those clients challenged with unresolved trauma and has years of experience working with Veterans, adults who have experienced MST, those who have experienced Trafficking as well and teens who have experienced severe traumatic events.
Ms. Gordon believes "we can all come together to heal one another." Using evidence-based practices, we can safely work through experiences to create a strong and useful healing experience. She values empathy, genuineness, compassion, community, and respect. She strives to provide a safe space for clients to express themselves without fear of judgment.
