12176 S 1000 E Ste 12, Salt Lake, UT
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Utah with 25 years of experience in the human services field. My professional background includes child welfare, medical social work, private practice, and crisis/emergency mental health services. I earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Southern Utah University in 2000 and a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Chapman University in 2008. I have been married for 30 years. After a decade-long journey with infertility, we were blessed with three teenage daughters through in vitro fertilization and adoption. They are a constant source of joy and growth. My personal experiences have deepened my understanding of life’s challenges, including my struggles with depression, anxiety, and grief following the loss of a child. These experiences have shaped my commitment to providing my clients a safe, non-judgmental space. My approach is direct, solution-focused, and welcoming to individuals from all walks of life. I specialize in supporting clients facing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, faith crises, LGBTQ+ issues, and marital challenges. I aim to empower clients to gain insight, achieve balance, and create meaningful, lasting life changes.
