He received both his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and his Master’s degree in Counseling with a concentration in Couples and Family Counseling in addition to his Individual Counseling training from East Tennessee State University. He is also a Certified Sex Therapist through the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. He founded the Black Counselors Association there to draw more African-American and other minority clients and clinicians into counseling. He approaches counseling by matching therapeutic techniques to each individual client or couple to achieve the greatest amount of growth both inside and outside of sessions.
