What should a new client know about working with you?

DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time.DISCLAIMER: We are not able to accept Medicare or Medicaid plans at this time. My path to becoming a therapist began with my own experience in counseling, where I learned more about myself and my perspective on the world. This meaningful experience deepened my commitment to providing that same level of empathetic and empowering care to my patients – a commitment I continue to value each and every day.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe in taking a holistic approach to counseling, understanding the connection between mind and body in the healing process. Because you have your own preferences, expectations, and values, I blend a variety of modalities into this therapeutic approach, all of which are tailored to you. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with a multicultural and trauma-informed perspective and somatic exercises such as grounding techniques. I’m passionate about helping you build resilience, recognize your strengths, and move forward with greater confidence and overall well-being.
