Hello! I'm Jasmyn, and I'm here to help you navigate life's challenges. While I can't solve your problems for you, I can equip you with the tools and strategies you need to overcome them. My goal is to help you make progress and build healthier relationships, whether with family, friends, coworkers, or yourself. I believe in the power of progress over perfection and am passionate about guiding you towards a more fulfilling life. I hold a Master's degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) in Colorado. My professional journey has taken me through various roles, including working in a jail and with clients on probation and parole. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of life transitions, correctional systems, addictions, and mental health issues. I've had the privilege of working with both men and women individually and in groups, and I've taught Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) and a self-created relationship skills class to men in the Denver County Jail. The relationship skills group remains one of my most rewarding experiences in counseling. In my practice, I often utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, but I believe in tailoring my approach to fit each individual's unique needs and circumstances. Whether you're dealing with addiction, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, life transitions, multicultural/diversity issues, PTSD, intimate/romantic relationships, spirituality, stress, traumatic brain injury, or military/veteran support, I'm here to support you. I also offer SonderMind Video Telehealth sessions for those who prefer or require remote counseling. Outside of my counseling work, I was a preschool teacher, where I taught young children essential life skills, from communication to emotional regulation. I firmly believe that it's never too early or too late to learn and grow.
