Hi. Challenging experiences in life can bring up feelings of anxiety, uncertainty, worry, and it can be hard to know what to do. My name is Dr. Jennifer Green, PhD, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Certified Grief Educator. With a non-judgemental attitude and honesty, I will help you to work through issues while identifying your inner strengths to be a happier and healthier version of yourself. I look forward to taking the journey of healing with you.

What should a new client know about working with you?

My approach to therapy will vary based on the needs of each client. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy which are excellent modalities to help patients and therapists have a shared understanding of the challenges in their life. I also use Play Therapy with children and families having over 25 years in the field of special education.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

The first session is called an Intake. This is where we talk about symptoms, history, and identify your goals, and discuss a plan. The next session we talk and begin the healing journey, collaborate on goals until our next session. For children children, it is a time for the child to come to the play center and play because play is their language of communication and this is their process towards understanding big feelings.
