I am an LCSW with 11 years of experience supporting older adults, family caregivers, veterans, and individuals within LGBTQIA2S+ communities. As a Black, queer, lesbian, disabled veteran, I bring both lived experience and clinical expertise to my work. I often support clients navigating life transitions, caregiving stress, trauma, identity concerns, grief, and the emotional weight of long-held experiences. I earned my Doctorate of Social Work from Tulane University. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, grounded in respect for lived experience. I integrate reflection, meaning-making, and practical coping skills to help clients process trauma, reduce overwhelm, and strengthen self-trust. Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you have been carrying a lot for a long time. You do not have to have everything figured out.
