Getting to know Jennifer Ozarow

Jen is a compassionate limited permit mental health counselor with a clinical focus in the treatment of PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders, relational and communication problems, LBGTQ++ informed therapy, aging, chronic pain and grief and loss. She collaborates closely with patients, helping them identify needs, goals, and strategies for change. By tapping into their inner strengths, she fosters confidence and empowerment. Her specialization in LBGTQ++ therapy is leveraged to support patients in understanding their sexuality, developing their personal identity, enhancing self-understanding, and addressing relational patterns. Jen's training in Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E) for eating disorders allows her to provide evidence-informed treatment to help patients break free from the destructive cycle of their eating disorder and learn to reduce and manage symptoms long-term. With a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College, Jen collaboratively works with patients to achieve their goals, fostering healing, growth, and well-being.
