What should a new client know about working with you?

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental, and compassionate space where you can speak openly about your experiences, emotions, and challenges. My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful, and I work at a pace that feels respectful of where you are in your process. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based techniques, psychodynamic insight, and positive psychology, depending on your needs and goals. Together, we explore patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop practical tools to support healing and growth. I believe therapy works best as a partnership—you bring your lived experience, and I bring clinical expertise, curiosity, and care. Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, or identity-related challenges, my goal is to help you feel understood, empowered, and supported as you move toward greater clarity and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our work typically begins with an initial session focused on understanding you—your concerns, goals, history, and what has brought you to therapy at this time. We talk about what you’re hoping to change, what’s been difficult, and what support might feel most helpful. Ongoing sessions are conversational and collaborative. We check in on how you’ve been feeling since the last session, explore current stressors, and look at patterns in thoughts, emotions, and relationships. Depending on your needs, sessions may include talk therapy, skills-building (such as coping strategies or communication tools), mindfulness exercises, or deeper reflection to build insight and self-awareness. Throughout our work, I regularly invite feedback to make sure therapy feels supportive, relevant, and aligned with your goals. Progress is not rushed—therapy moves at a pace that honors your emotional safety while still encouraging growth and change. My role is to help you better understand yourself, develop healthier ways of coping, and feel more grounded and empowered in your daily life.
