“I arrived at a point in my life where I knew I needed to talk to someone. I picked Jesse because he seemed like someone who knew how to help with what I was feeling. After meeting with him once, I knew it was a good fit. We enjoyed the same things in life, like D&D, and spent our first session nerding out. Jesse is a great listener and knows his stuff. Within a few weeks of meeting with him, I started to feel better. It’s helping me to build a better relationship not only with myself but everyone around me. If you’re new to therapy, I can’t recommend Jesse enough.”

"Have you ever felt like you just couldn’t move forward? Like you’re being held down by the past and just can’t seem to move on? There’s so much that you want to enjoy, but you’re held back because you don’t know if you can handle it. And yet you are expected to continue with your daily life as if there is nothing wrong. But there is hope. My goal in therapy is to create a space where you can explore your experience openly and feel understood without judgment. No matter what struggles you're working through, we can work through all sorts of life's challenges together. I primarily work through a lens of trauma-informed care, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy in order to help my clients move forward and face their life head-on. Additionally, I o?er EMDR therapy at request. Whether you think that your problems are too big or too small for therapy, or if you are already convinced that therapy is right for you and are just looking for the right fit, I am here for you. I’m truly so grateful for Jesse. In the past, I’ve struggled with feeling like my therapy sessions were truly productive, but with Jesse, it’s different. I consistently walk away feeling like we’ve uncovered something meaningful. I deeply appreciate the way he creates space for open and thoughtful conversations, and I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone.
I cannot recommend Jesse enough! He's incredibly kind, funny and he makes every session feel comfortable and easy to open up in. His understanding and supportive nature creates a safe space to talk about anything, and I always leave feeling heard and cared for. He sets clear and fair boundaries and expectations which makes the process feel safe and structured. If you're looking for someone who truly listens and helps you grow, Jesse is the one!
Jesse is definitely a good listener. We connected on a few topics which already made me feel more comfortable and personal. I'm 27 and I personally feel like I benefit from being able to talk to someone like Jesse who is near my age. I'd definitely recommend him especially for people of a similar age group such as 18-30.

Our 13-year-old daughter has been working with Jesse Sturtz for a number of month to address some challenges around severe social anxiety, ADHD, and other issues. Even though she usually has difficulty meeting new people and building trust, she finds Jesse easy to talk to, enjoys working with him, and has already demonstrated visible progress. My husband and I recently had the opportunity to do a session with Jesse ourselves, to ask for guidance around communication with our daughter and some ongoing concerns. Jesse responded to our questions with empathy and helpful information, and provided us with useful strategies to improve our family dynamic. We're grateful to have found a therapist with such compassion, warmth, and dedication, and who is able to connect so well with our daughter navigating this tricky phase of life.
I've had a great experience with Jess so far. He has really helped me think through some things while maintaining a professional, yet casual atmosphere where I feel comfortable to be myself. He is good at matching the approach and pace to match what works well for the client.
