Judy Liberatoscioli, LMSW

Judy Liberatoscioli, LMSW

Psychotherapist
MD
I am a Licensed Master Social Worker in the state of Maryland. I received my undergraduate degree in Behavioral Health Counseling from Drexel University and my Master of Social Service from Bryn Mawr College. I have developed my clinical skills through my prior work in a domestic abuse agency and a school-based mental health program, where I supported children, teens, adults, and families from many backgrounds. When it comes to therapeutic practice, I believe that trust is fundamental. Every person who comes to therapy deserves a space where they feel safe, heard, and accepted, and that is the therapeutic space I strive to hold for my clients. Grounded in the principles of person-centered and trauma-informed care, I tailor my eclectic therapeutic approach to best support the growth of each individual client. I utilize elements of dialectical behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, feminist therapy, and mindfulness. I work with LGBTQ+ youth and adults, individuals who have experienced abuse by a partner or family member, and people with experiences of neurodivergence, depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, borderline personality disorder, and dissociative identity disorder.
